What to expect
Join Chef Paul Jansen, Executive Chef and Owner of Sette Pasta House, for an unforgettable hands-on Italian cooking class. With over 14 years of professional experience and seven successful restaurant creations, Chef Paul brings his passion for fresh, homemade pasta straight to your workstation.
Classes are limited to just 12 students (2 per station), ensuring plenty of personal instruction and interaction. You’ll learn to craft classic Italian dishes that are simple enough to recreate at home, yet bold and flavorful enough to impress family and friends. Best of all? You’ll eat every dish you create, turning the class into both a learning experience and a shared meal.

Hi there! I will be getting activated for military duty starting in April and unfortunately wont be able to do classes until I return again in Sept. I appreciate all the support and I know there is a long list of you that want to do classes. Good news is I am looking for a space to host classes that wont interfere with the business at Sette, which means we can do more classes anytime and any day! Stay Tuned! - Paul

These private classes can even be held in the comfort of your own home, transforming your kitchen into a gourmet studio. Perfect for anniversaries, special occasions, or simply honing your culinary skills, a private class with Chef Paul offers a unique way to learn, connect, and enjoy incredible food together. $125 oer student with a $1000 minimum.

Kick off the year with a cozy, hands-on pasta experience where you’ll master the art of homemade fettuccine and two classic sauces — Alfredo and Chicken Marsala — all from scratch.
This 3-hour class includes a welcome mimosa, a full meal, and the pasta confidence you’ve been craving.
🍝 What You’ll Make (and Eat):
Handmade Fettuccine – Silky, ribbon-like noodles you’ll roll, cut, and cook yourself.
Alfredo Sauce – Rich, creamy, and luxurious — no shortcuts, no jars.
Chicken Marsala Sauce – Earthy mushrooms, tender seared chicken, and a sweet Marsala wine reduction.

This March, come roll, sauce, and layer your way to greatness.
We’re unlocking the secrets behind Sette’s iconic lasagna — a labor of love packed with rich, slow-cooked Bolognese and fresh pasta sheets you’ll make by hand.
You’ll learn the full process, from dough to dish, then sit down with your classmates at our family table to share the finished lasagna — served with Sette’s famous Caesar salad and warm, garlicky focaccia bread.
🧑🍳 What You’ll Learn:
1. Pasta Dough & Sheeting Techniques
Mixing and kneading fresh pasta dough
Using a pasta roller (or rolling pin) to create thin, even sheets
Tips for preventing tearing, sticking, and over-drying
These skills translate to ravioli, fettuccine, tagliatelle & more!
2. Building a Rich Bolognese Sauce
Layering flavors with soffritto (onions, carrots, celery)
Browning meats for depth
Deglazing with wine and reducing properly
Balancing tomato, dairy, and aromatics for authentic Italian flavor
3. Lasagna Construction & Baking
Assembling lasagna with proper layer order and texture contrast
Choosing the right baking vessel and timing
Letting it rest (the hardest part!) for sliceable, restaurant-quality results
